Anyone can say they’re a good breeder. On Tailo, every claim is paired with something we actually checked - and where we couldn’t, we say so.
We confirm the breeder is registered with VMVT, the state veterinary service. No registration, no page on Tailo.
Where a pedigree is claimed, we check it against the Lithuanian Kennel Union (LŠVK) - per parent dog, not just the kennel name.
A real, named person or registered company stands behind every litter. Checking that identity is the next thing we're adding - until it runs, the sheet says pending.
Some things we can't verify yet, like facility photos. When that's the case we mark it pending - we never pretend it's done.
Pending never means bad - it means not checked yet.

Behind every litter on Tailo is a named person or a registered kennel, checked before they can publish. Each profile shows the verification sheet, the parent dogs and the litters they have raised - so you can get to know the breeder before you write to them.
Most puppies in the EU change hands with no papers and no way to check the breeder. Tailo is the checked alternative.

Tailo is a platform for checked breeders and shelters in Lithuania. We started it because finding a dog here still mostly means an anonymous ad and a promise. We check what can be checked, say plainly what we couldn’t, and leave the decision where it belongs - with you and the breeder.

That we checked the breeder before they could publish: a real, named person or a registered kennel, registered with VMVT, and any pedigree they claim confirmed with LŠVK. Whatever we have not checked yet is marked pending on every page - never hidden.
No, and we will not say it does. Checking lowers the risk - it does not remove it. It tells you the breeder is who they say they are and the papers are real. Meeting the parents, reading the health tests and asking your own questions is still your part, and the pages here are built to help you do it.
Nothing. Browsing, writing to breeders and following a litter are free, and they stay free. Shelters list for free as well.
No. Your first message goes straight to the breeder, and they reply to your email. An account is useful later - to follow litters and keep your conversations in one place.
Not always. A reserved puppy stays on the page because reservations sometimes fall through. Save the puppy, follow the litter, and ask the breeder about a waitlist - most keep one.
